A Military Academy Student with a Cultivation World

(I've changed the premise. The original one felt a little outdated, so feel free to give it a try. Bow.) Xiaer Star is humanity's first harbor, and its last. When humanity first ventured beyond its home planet, they discovered that the stars were all incredibly far away. Even Proxima Centauri was a hundred thousand light-years away. With resources critically scarce, disgusting, inedible void bugs were the only available resource. At eighteen, Qin Lian got into military academy and awakened a talent. She planned to join a hunting squad after graduation and make a name for herself. Until she used her talent and, with a poof, disappeared, leaving her baffled classmates and teacher behind. With her student ID and personal smart device, Qin Lian appeared in a talent recruitment ceremony for the Demon Sect, looking utterly bewildered. Since the Demon Sect accepted everyone, she ended up as its lowest-ranking servant and was assigned the legendary hardest farming task. What?! I went to military academy, and I'm actually qualified to take on such a noble task?! On her first day, the servant manager contemptuously tossed her some coarse grains and worthless wild fruit. Qin Lian nervously took a bite of the fruit, and tears welled up in her eyes. It was the first time in her life she'd eaten anything besides nutrient insect paste. Demon Sect manager: ? Are you okay? Three days later, Qin Lian returned to her class. She grabbed her teacher. "Teacher, you're in big trouble!" Her teacher was thrilled to see her too. The funding that had been revoked was safe again. Then, in the next instant, the teacher took back their excitement. "W-what happened?" What everyone somehow didn't know was that the people of Xiaer were experts at making use of resources. Later... The Demon Sect members saw Qin Lian's extreme physical-training method, which wrung every last bit of strength from the body. Demon Sect members: ? They saw Qin Lian's carpet-bombing, saturation-style resource collection. Demon Sect members: ? They saw how Qin Lian used every inch of a hunted creature's materials with near-perfect efficiency. Demon Sect members: ? So which one of us is the Demon Sect? Qin Lian! Explain yourself! Theme: Hope!
