The Punishment Game

[Written in middle school, so it's not very good, and it's incomplete. I just wanted to put all my writing up here. I'll revise it when I have time. I really do love this trope.]

Gu Lingyuan himself couldn't tell whether his feelings for Cheng Yi were the infatuation of youth or an uncontrollable jealousy.

He envied Cheng Yi's reckless freedom and hated even more the people who got to stay by his side. His obsessive feelings grew like weeds on a wasteland. If it hurt this much, then he might as well find a way to make Cheng Yi his.

After Cheng Yi and Gu Lingyuan finally got their happy ending, the righteous peanut gallery exposed Gu Lingyuan's true nature. The seemingly delicate, refined man was actually an obsessive, terrifying psycho in private. But Cheng Yi, the victim who had been deceived and controlled by him, said, "Gu Lingyuan loves me that much? Then all the kindness I've shown him wasn't for nothing. Thanks for letting me know. Please spread the word."

The top is a genuinely evil, fake-sweet psycho, an obsessive yandere who takes action.

The bottom seems innocent but is secretly calculating, and loves putting on a show as a frail, delicate yandere.

From school uniforms to wedding gowns, you were my first love and you'll be my only one. Gu Lingyuan (Gu Zhiyuan), top x Cheng Yi, bottom. One-on-one pairing.

An alternate modern setting where same-sex marriage is legal.
