Why does that sound so weird? Blurb 2: Zhong Lingyan thought he was well and truly dead. He never expected to open his eyes and find himself someone else's founding master. Author's ramblings: Every few chapters, there's a little modern paranormal story, some long and some short, some funny and some heartbreaking. All the ghosts and monsters are weaklings, so none of it is scary. They're just a way into the stories, which are really about people. Also, if you liked the story about the deceased ex-boyfriend, there's a little surprise waiting for you at the end of this one. Theme: Perhaps when you're lonely and helpless, someone is quietly tying a thread for you in a corner you cannot see, a thread that will never break, not in this life or the next.
