Straight, but Likes to Fake Romance [Entertainment Industry]

Bai Yichen is a gorgeous but hopelessly obscure actor. To avoid leaving showbiz, he went into BL content creation. His assigned partner was three years younger, handsome and taciturn, with absolutely awful acting skills. He had no choice but to bring his partner along while studying the art of selling a fake romance, determined to make them a smash hit. A supporting couple with little screen time, some pretty explicit scenes, and a partner as stiff as a board? None of that bothered Bai Yichen. RPS was king these days. As long as he was willing to sell the romance, he’d be driving a Land Rover sooner or later. Luckily, although his partner was a block of wood, he was obedient. He did whatever Bai Yichen told him to. His cooperation helped Bai Yichen create the most successful supporting couple in history. After gaining both fame and fortune, Bai Yichen wasn’t greedy. He decided to talk things over with his partner and end their arrangement amicably. After all, even real friends in showbiz could fall out over money, let alone a pair of fake gay lovers like them. It was better to clear things up in advance than to be blindsided by a betrayal. He didn’t want to wake up one day to find that his fans’ world had collapsed and their couple had fallen apart too. But he’d barely begun when his partner’s eyes turned red. “You want to break up with me?” Bai Yichen: “!?” Come on, are you serious? I’m straight. I just like selling a fake romance!
