From a beloved second-generation star to an Off-Broadway child actor, then to one of Hollywood's newest young actresses, Christina's life had gone smoothly for her first decade and a half. She was the sort of lucky winner who must have "saved the galaxy in her past life."
Then one day, she received a contract for a fake relationship designed to generate publicity.
Christina: "I'd rather starve to death, die out there, jump off this..."
Later...
Christina: "Okay, this is actually great (. "
[[[Spoiler Warnings]]]
1. The setting is partly fictional, and plenty of original characters will appear. For the sake of the plot, the filming and release dates of some movies may differ from reality. Some movies may also have heavily altered plots or endings, or even different directors, though I'll try not to make that a constant.
2. I'll do my best to write more original screenplays, but my imagination is limited, and I simply can't come up with enough original movies OTL. So there will also be plenty of films that have already been released in real life, which means the heroine will inevitably compete with real-life stars for roles. If that bothers any of you sweethearts, this hopeless author apologizes in advance OTL.
3. Henry is the male lead, but the main plot focuses on the heroine's career, so he may not show up until later.
4. I've never been to Britain or the US in my life. I'm a sheltered country bumpkin who knows nothing of the world, and my understanding of Western entertainment is based on gossip magazines and my own wishful thinking. There will definitely be plenty of inaccuracies, so please don't think too hard while reading OTL.
Theme: Even a second-generation star has to work hard to succeed.
The ground is full of pits
I think the heroine is indeed very unprofessional. As an actor, no matter how much you prepare and practice, your professional level cannot be compared to those who have only been doing this thing their whole life. There is essentially no difference whether she scores 10 or 50, because the professional score is close to 100. This gap will always require a substitute. Now she feels that she can't live with using a stand-in even if she only has 20 points. When she reaches 40 points, she will still need a stand-in. So what is she struggling with? She just needs to find a place where she can accept a substitute with peace of mind. Others say that although she is being mean in seeking fame, for someone who has been in the Hollywood film industry for a long time, she is really being hypocritical.
The heroine is more serious, while the other actors think this is just a job.
Ah... No more, I still have more to say
I really want to see the next plot
