The Entire Lion Clan Is Eavesdropping on Me

Out on the vast grasslands, Ning Shi let out a mighty roar, startling a swarm of mosquitoes. Lion Mom raised a paw and immediately subdued her cub. "Why are you making such a babyish noise?"

Ning Shi sprawled across Lion Mom and lay flat. What was there to aspire to after transmigrating into a lion cub?

Ding! The Enlightenment System has loaded successfully. Host can earn Fortune Points by educating the pride. Points can be exchanged for maps, water sources, intelligence, and increased strength...

Ning Shi glanced at it, then chose to keep being a slacker.

The golden finger was great, and the rewards were generous, but reality was harsh. These were wild, untamed lions. Go on, try educating them!

The System fretted: Host, you need to step up! If you succeed at educating them, who knows, you might even evolve into a cyber lion king.

Ning Shi rolled over, turning his back on the System. "Are you okay? If lions could be educated, I'd stand on my head and climb a tree."

Roar.

Little did he know that Lion Dad, Lion Mom, and his three cub siblings had all heard his thoughts. What?

Starting a fire could help them find a herd of cattle?

Using the toilet properly could earn them a mosquito net?

Building a wall could get them a safe, clean water source?

As they listened to the System's relentless persuasion, the whole pride's eyes lit up. They slapped away the lazy cub in front of them, who kept insisting, "I won't listen, I won't listen." "Shut up and dance with us! We can trade this for fish!"

Lion cub: ...

Have you heard? The male lion from the Yellow Sandlands was kicked out of his home. Apparently, he couldn't perform.

Keep your distance from the White-Haired-Leg Lion today. He failed to catch a rabbit and got peed in the face instead. Now he's furious and taking it out on everyone. Hahaha.

Breaking news! A black leopard from Great Creek River and a male lion from White Ointment Land are inseparable. The reason is...?

The whole pride was thrilled, huddled together in a clump.

What excited them even more was the thought of seeing the cub climb a tree upside down.

Ning Shi: ...
