Landing on the Continent

Shang Lu used to think his life was far too dull, with no excitement at all. Then he accidentally wandered into a continent that didn't exist in the real world. The continent was made up of one obsession after another. If intruders couldn't unravel an obsession, they would crash along with the continent as it plummeted at breakneck speed. Speed and thrills: it had both in spades. Shang Lu: No problem. He declared, "Life is like a marathon. Keep working hard, and you'll win!" Shang Lu smoothly caught one falling continent after another and cleared one stage after another, until one day, the person who had always been by his side began to fall: "Shang Lu, I'm falling." Shang Lu yanked him back. "What's the next line after 'Life is like a marathon'?" "Keep working hard, and you'll win?" Shang Lu: "No. The next line is, I'm the horse and you're the pine." "If I hold on to you, together we're a marathon." A little goofy, happy ending. An optimistic, studious, looks-loving little ray of sunshine, the bottom x a lonely, shell-hiding, incredibly strong top. Theme: Life is always beautiful.
