[Secret Identity] [Mutual Crush] [Sentinel and Guide]
Chi Xingshi’s friend asked him to help keep an eye on their crush’s social media account.
There was one big problem: the friend’s crush was a scumbag sentinel who had once pursued Chi Xingshi relentlessly.
If Chi Xingshi used his main account to snoop, he’d be recognized immediately.
As a friend who always got stuck with the dirty work, Chi Xingshi had no choice but to create a new secret identity for himself:
A social media account for an online shop specializing in mental sea soothing services.
Then he started posting ads and visiting the scumbag sentinel’s account every day.
The scumbag posted: “Stay away from those shady marketing accounts! I’ve got plenty of bedmates! I don’t need a guide to soothe me! [Angry][Angry]”
Chi Xingshi: (Looks away) (Takes a screenshot) (Sends the dirt to his friend)
But right after he casually posted another ad, a sentinel actually showed up.
[Customer] Xing Huai: “Do you offer online soothing services, or in-person ones?”
Chi Xingshi: ???
This was bad. He’d played the part of a marketing account too well, and now he had no choice but to accept the job.
Chu Huai’s mental sea was on the verge of collapse. After nearly making a mistake in battle, he finally took his friend’s advice and decided to try a mental sea soothing service.
The shop he found had a name very similar to his ID, and both included the character “Xing,” which gave him a good impression. The ads, however, were a little questionable.
Chu Huai didn’t suspect a thing. He placed an order at once and waited for the shopkeeper in the virtual space.
The person who arrived was all covered up and reluctant to show their face. They didn’t look like a good person, and Chu Huai nearly let his professional instincts take over and apprehended them on the spot.
But when the other person released their spirit form, Chu Huai froze.
It was the spirit form of the guide he’d had a crush on for ages.
After their first online soothing session, Chu Huai was breathing slightly hard. His eyes gleaming, he looked at the person in front of him.
“Next time... could we do it in person?”
Chi Xingshi was being wrapped around the waist by the other person’s spirit form, its snake tail. His eyes brimming with tears, he stammered out a refusal:
“Sorry, I only offer online services, and I’m planning to close up shop...”
Before he could finish, he clearly felt something like snake scales against his skin. The spirit form, its appearance impossible to make out, had moved to his chest.
Chu Huai licked the corner of his lips and tilted his head. “You’re closing up shop?”
Chi Xingshi: “...I’m not closing! I’m not closing! QAQ”
Chi Xingshi was being very well looked after by his only customer.
The sentinel was a little intimidating, but he was generous, and the tips he gave could cover a month of Chi Xingshi’s living expenses.
Just then, the Empire’s First Legion returned to the Imperial Capital. The new king publicly announced that he was seeking a guide to be bound to the marshal on the battlefield.
Chi Xingshi wanted to take a shot at a brighter future, so he confidently signed up on the spot.
But as soon as he met the marshal, he reached out and stroked the marshal’s cheek, using physical contact to send his mental tentacles inside.
The secretary beside them cried out in alarm: “What are you doing? Are you harassing the marshal?”
Chi Xingshi turned around in confusion. But this was how he did online soothing sessions!
A soft laugh came from above. Chu Huai reassured them, “It’s fine. Let him try.”
As soon as he finished speaking, the marshal’s black dragon spirit form wrapped its tail around Chi Xingshi against its owner’s will.
Chi Xingshi looked at the tail around his waist, then at Chu Huai’s embarrassed expression, even more confused than before.
“Are all reptilian spirit forms this affectionate and clingy?”
One-on-one, both are each other’s first, happy ending, sweet fluff.
Theme: Kindness and a willingness to help are virtues.
