The Heavenly Way told the Sword Saint to eliminate demons and defend the righteous path, but the Sword Saint didn't think it was necessary.

Cultivators live long lives, so long that no one remembers that the Sword Saint and the Demon Venerable were once fellow disciples.

Reading Guide:

1. He absolutely adores the Sword Saint gong x absent-minded Demon Venerable shou. Xie Yuanhuai (junior brother) x Lian Chengqing (senior brother).

2. Lighthearted xianxia, occasionally chaotic, max-level farming and romance.

3. The shou is not the gong's first. This is in service of the setting. The demon realm values living for the moment and indulging desire. The Sword Saint cultivates the Path of Unfeeling. Their emotional bond is destined in every sense to be a perfect one-on-one pairing. No switching roles or breaking them up. The author loves them both very much.

4. There are other characters in relationships of various orientations, but their side pairings won't get much detail or extensive solo POV sections. The story will focus on the main characters, especially the shou's perspective. ~~
