Synopsis
Yin Chi, an unconventional CEO who was cold, ruthless, and loved money more than life itself, transmigrated into a book.
She ended up in a melodramatic danmei novel as a poor female side character with no parents and barely a penny to her name. Because her eyes looked about fifty percent like those of the white moonlight, she was forced to become a substitute for a bunch of scumbag tops.
The scumbag tops' usual lines:
"Here's a million. Learn everything about him within a week and impersonate him perfectly."
"Here's five million. Don't leave the house for a month. Live in the villa I bought for him and learn all his hobbies."
"Here's ten million. Put away those ridiculous delusions. I only love your eyes."
Yin Chi, poor enough to be on the verge of starving: "..."
As long as the money's right, I can love the white moonlight even more than you do!!
-
For the scumbag tops' generous paychecks, Yin Chi diligently researched the white moonlight, studied his personality, and learned what he liked...
Finally, after collecting a huge final payment and successfully getting rich, and with the white moonlight having returned home to great acclaim, she promptly disappeared from the scumbag tops' sight. She began investing, buying houses, and trading stocks, happily preparing to reclaim her former glory as a CEO.
Yin Chi's take: Being a substitute is great. Being a substitute makes money like crazy.
But on the first day her company opened, the first job applicant arrived twenty minutes early and politely knocked on her office door. Yin Chi looked up expectantly, ready to start looking forward to a bright future. The next second, she unexpectedly met a pair of eyes just like her own, with the power to captivate anyone.
"..."
Looking at the white moonlight himself, a man with a bewitchingly beautiful face, Yin Chi, who had been single since birth, fell into a long silence.
-
After Yin Chi left in a blaze of glory, the scumbag tops suddenly went crazy all together.
They went to great lengths to find the little substitute with tears in her eyes, clinging to her shamelessly and hoping she would change her mind.
Yin Chi, who had already made a name for herself, put an arm around the white moonlight and soothingly kissed the forehead of the sweet, naive man in her embrace. After a long pause, she narrowed her eyes and said with weary wisdom, "Sure."
"But that'll cost extra."

Reading Guide:
* The true, utterly naive white moonlight with an unattainable status x the unconventional female CEO who loves money more than life and has no principles
* An exaggerated, sweet, feel-good comedy with no ambition and no literary merit. The author has no brains, so don't expect much logic. The first chapter author's note contains content warnings.
* Please visit my author page and add me to your collection. Pretty please!

--- Next: Ever Since I Bound Myself to That Zhihu System ---
Zhao Mingzhu, who had spent years showing off on Zhihu, transmigrated into a book.
She became the righteous cultivation novel's elegant and noble eldest senior sister. Afraid she'd become a piece of trash after transmigrating into a book, she kept her show-off nature tightly reined in. With profound cultivation, she shouldered the burden of protecting her sect, working hard without complaint and earning a reputation for virtue, dignity, and gentle refinement...
Then her corrupted junior brother stabbed straight through her with his sword.
Zhao Mingzhu: "...Why didn't I draw my sword and kill that bastard earlier?"
Reborn, Zhao Mingzhu had planned to angrily burst out of her coffin. But as soon as she opened her eyes, a Zhihu System appeared in her mind, one that had pretended to be dead in her previous life until it really was too late.
The Zhihu System declared that Zhao Mingzhu had to use love and warmth to reform her corrupted junior brother. Otherwise, it would pack her off to Africa to mine coal on the spot, and she wouldn't be allowed back until the entire mountain was mined out.
Zhao Mingzhu: "...You son of a! :-)"
Then all the hardworking disciples of Qiuyu Pavilion suddenly noticed...
Their eldest senior sister had changed recently.
Zhao Mingzhu's usual lines back when she was still upright and honorable:
"Master, I finished the test you assigned last night."
"Second Junior Sister, the correct way to do this sword move is like this."
"Little Junior Brother, take your eldest senior brother and escape. Don't worry about me!"
Zhao Mingzhu's usual lines after binding herself to the Zhihu System:
"Thanks for the invite. First, let's ask whether that's true, then ask why."
"I'm at Qiuyu Pavilion. Just got off the Feiyun flying boat. Too many familiar faces around, so I'll stay anonymous."
"Make simple problems complicated, and turn complicated problems into cultivation questions. Before answering this question, I'd like to tell you a true story. I have a junior brother. He used to be thoroughly ordinary, but through hard work, he became the cultivation world's number one, the pride of the sect..."
Her fellow senior and junior disciples: "..."
As expected of the eldest senior sister!
She's diligently teaching the sect's disciples today, too!
-
A thousand years ago, Qiuyu Pavilion, once an obscure sect, rose to prominence overnight.
The sect was a bizarre one. No one knew where five mighty cultivators at the Deity Transformation stage had come from, but they suppressed countless long-established cultivation families in one fell swoop and claimed the number one spot in the cultivation world. For a thousand years, they enjoyed boundless glory and prosperity.
Back then, the little junior brother, son of the sect leader, hadn't become a great demon yet. Born into the number one sect and doted on by his senior brothers and sisters, he was innocent and carefree, with a love of sword dancing, poetry, and flower arranging. He was a true heaven-blessed prodigy.
Though the little junior brother's talent was average and his cultivation nothing special, he often humbly went around asking people for advice. He also made the prettiest little pink pastries. And he was always clinging to his eldest senior sister, asking her to open the crane-beaked pill bottle for him.
The eldest senior sister's smile twisted slightly. Grinding her teeth, she asked him, "You really can't open it? Hm?"
Rong Chenguang lowered his head coyly and said in a bashful voice, "Eldest Senior Sister, I really can't open it."
The disciples were already used to his syrupy, tea-like act. As soon as they heard that, they all nodded in understanding. "Little Junior Brother's always like that. So delicate and weak, and such a little green tea the moment he opens his mouth."
Zhao Mingzhu: "..."
Zhao Mingzhu gripped a sword sheath powerful enough to slay a demon lord and stared at the green-tea junior brother before her, who recited poetry when happy, sobbed when sad, and fumed helplessly when angry. She suddenly sank into a long silence.
Damn it.
The eldest senior sister was thoroughly confused today, too.

* No logic, no logic. No literary talent, no literary talent. This is a trope-practice story.
* Insult whoever you want, just don't insult me. Everything serves the plot. Not a strong female lead, just an exaggerated, sweet, feel-good silly comedy.
* I hope you'll support the official version. Mwah, mwah!!!
