[Bungo Stray Dogs] Tainted Beauty

Legend has it that the Cloud Bird was born with the first light of creation and cherished by all things. It is the source of all beauty, the beginning of every flash of inspiration, the distant light in the sky, the Muse in a poet's dreams.

What of the filthy black Cloud Bird?

It is the Cloud Bird's opposite, turning all beauty inside out. Disliked by all things, it is beauty's antithesis, a twisted and misshapen existence.

Using a soul from a higher dimension as its shadow, it takes the black Cloud Bird for its body, then fills itself with black fragments and reflections.

That is him: an uncanny, ill-fitting counterfeit, something that belongs nowhere.

And so, he is disqualified from being human.

A Dazai-centered, everyone-loves-him story. The main pairing is up to the reader's interpretation, while the bonus chapters will have a clear pairing. At its heart, this is a soft candy wrapped in black paper.

I'll stop at nothing to make it sweet. There's a major OOC scene ahead, so proceed with caution.

As I said, this is my take on Dazai transmigrating. Ahem. In other words, I've made him so OOC that he doesn't even feel like Dazai anymore.
