With a green blade in hand, the young hero rides beneath brocade robes.
Many brilliant minds are cunning and wise; heroines are every bit as valiant.
He watches the world at ease, caring little for fame beyond himself.
With true feelings in his heart, even the realm itself seems insignificant.
A jug of wine makes life a joy; a promise is worth a thousand gold.
He gallops through the rivers and lakes, while few can match him behind the boudoir walls.
Who says he’s just a mischievous boy? His chivalrous heart rings true.
All these countless tales unfold in a wondrous story of love and swordplay.
Updates will pause until the seventh day of the New Year. I’ll be visiting relatives and won’t have time to write. Happy Spring Festival, everyone, and may all go well! P.S. The plot is moving along now, and the relationship between the two will make great strides after the New Year. Thank you all for your favorites, comments, and clicks, and for continuing to follow the story. Special thanks to Xiao Mo (Xiaobai Doesn’t Understand Xiahei) for providing the cover!!!
I wrote this on a whim as a playful introduction to the story.
The Jin Yong Adaptation Series
Huo Qingtong, the heroine in green and yellow, is one of my three favorite women in Jin Yong’s works. First is He Tieshou, second is Huo Qingtong, and third is Mu Wanqing.
Huo Qingtong is a chivalrous heroine, righteous from the moment she first appears. With a single lash of her whip, she takes Li Yuanzhi down a peg, and wins me over, too. Yet during the night battle with Li Yuanzhi and her master, she reveals a childlike innocence. Her martial arts are superb, she can lead the heroes, and she has the bearing of a great general. She is an extraordinary woman in every way, yet she falls in love with Chen Jialuo. To be honest, at first I admired Chen Jialuo, too. After all, it is no small feat for someone so young to lead a band of heroes.
When they first met, they seemed like a perfect match. But as the story went on, Chen Jialuo’s fickleness and indecisiveness left me dumbfounded. I especially lost all faith in him when he gave up his romance with Princess Fragrance.
Huo Qingtong deserves better than a man like him.
Li Yuanzhi is devoted in love, too. She went through countless hardships for the Golden Flute Scholar, yet in the end, she never received what could truly be called love.
Both women are deeply devoted, and each has her own distinctive qualities. Huo Qingtong’s righteousness and the hint of wickedness in Li Yuanzhi complement and illuminate each other.

Super pretty!!! Is the author going to update again? QwQ 🥺
The writing and storyline are all very good, why don't they update more, woo woo woo woo
As soon as the emotional drama started, it turned into a huge pit. There is another series in this lifetime.
Can the author please update it?
There is still me in the pit... I have been waiting for you for a long, long time
I hope the author can see that there are still people in the pit
It seems that I have no hope of waiting for updates in this life.
Ten years later, the author seems to have given up completely.
Will I still see updates in my lifetime QAQ
This is such a great article, it would be a great regret in my life if I could not see the update. Chen Jialuo is not worthy of Huo Qingtong, and Yu Yutong is even less worthy of Li Yunzhi. I feel heartbroken if I don't read Shujian for these two people a second time.
