I lean toward the receiving partner in BL and mainly care about how he's written. I want the giving partner to make the first move. I'm not too bothered by pretty or idealized giving partners, as long as the author doesn't imply in the narration that they want to kiss even if it means dying together. Check the comments for trigger warnings.

Contains major spoilers. No yuri, and no tragic, tempestuous romances. I’m open to everything else. I can’t stand protagonists who are constantly put through the wringer. I have lots of dealbreakers and don’t mince words, so steer clear if that bothers you.
