The hero and heroine are a bickering couple: one likes to dish it out, and the other is happy to take it. There are a few angsty moments later on, but their romance is mostly lighthearted throughout. The heroine seems gentle and a little aloof around the hero, but she's actually quite crafty. The hero is gentle with everyone else, but stubborn and shameless around the heroine. In the end, of course, she hooks him for good.
