Plucking the Stars

Everyone in the industry knows that Feng Qiao, the cool and low-key Best Actor of today's entertainment world, is worth hundreds of millions and has a die-hard fan named Su Mian. She followed him from online to in person, from in front of the TV to the big screen. She was rich and had plenty of free time. More importantly, she was also incredibly talented: one of the top writers in today's online fiction world, with every book she wrote for the past two years becoming a hit. When Best Actor Feng Qiao was going through an awkward transition in his career and couldn't find a suitable role, Su Mian went into seclusion for nine months, pouring her time and energy into crafting a script just for him. With that one production, Feng Qiao became a legend. Everyone in the industry envied Feng Qiao for having such a talented fan who recognized his potential. Some busybodies even egged him on: With a fan this talented who loves you so much, why not just get together? Su Mian's public response was: “I don't understand, and I don't approve. An idol is an idol, and a fan is a fan. Please keep idols out of their fans' private lives. Thank you.” Feng Qiao, still busy on set: ??? - Su Mian had always known that she wasn't the genius author everyone made her out to be, someone who had become an overnight sensation with her debut novel. She'd been writing on various platforms to practice since high school. When she was still an unknown, writing to an empty room, one little reader had always quietly supported her. They sent her gifts with every chapter and encouraged her with every comment. For ten years, without fail, whenever she switched platforms, that little reader followed. They registered accounts on dozens of platforms just to support her. She would discuss plot points with them until late at night, then talk about philosophy and dreams with them until dawn. In short, they were kindred spirits who felt they'd found each other far too late. One day, Su Mian finally decided to take a chance and have dinner with this reader, to take their relationship into the real world. They picked a place and she dressed up carefully. The moment her fan pushed open the door, Su Mian froze. The reader and fan, Feng Qiao, walked in and took a seat with easy composure. “Miss Su, 'An idol is an idol, and a fan is a fan. Please keep idols out of their fans' private lives'?” Theme: Live toward the sun
