Mystic Balance

Xuan Heng devoted five hundred years to cultivation, never letting anything distract him.

Then, in a single moment, he fell into the mortal world, where a domineering Demon Lord barged into his path of cultivation and refused to take no for an answer.

Xuan Heng sighed softly.

"Our paths are different. We cannot be allies."

"So what? You are my path."

"Why is the Demon Lord so stubborn?"

"Of the three thousand great paths, I only wish to reach the same destination as you, though by a different route."

Xuan Heng remained calm: Go ahead and make trouble. If you can disturb my state of mind, I'll admit defeat.

Later, Xuan Heng stared at his shattered Daoist heart.

Xuan Heng: ...I admit defeat.
