Capture Log: The Spirit-Ming Stone Monkey

How do you capture an unruly monkey? Act weak. Act weak. Act weak. The important things must be said three times. Find his weakness, hit him where it hurts, and act as weak as you can! Make him fall for you! OK, we have our guiding principles. Now for the action plan. Based on what happened on the previous Journey to the West, we've come up with the following plan: 1. Put away the bronze staff, hide your muscles, put on a crown and kasaya, mount the white horse, and act delicate and frail. Check. 2. What if you run into a demon? Lean against the monkey! Grab his tiger-skin skirt! Cry out in a sweet, frightened voice, "Wukong! Help! QAQ!" 3. What if you run into a demon alone? Kill it and bury it on the spot, then roll around, tear your clothes, and run back to your disciples in tears. "Wukong! There was a scary demon over there! I almost didn't make it back, sob sob sob!" 4. What if a demon captures you? Curl up in a corner, weak, helpless, and pitiful. Hug yourself and sob softly, "Wukong... I'm so scared... Come quickly... QAQ..." 5. Can't think of any other scenarios? We'll improvise when they come up! What? You're saying I'm the most infamous... no, the most renowned martial monk in the Tang Empire? That I can beat up a whole crowd, and a horse could run along my arm? That doesn't matter! What matters is that I'm going to capture that stone monkey and take him home :) Theme: A fresh take on traditional mythology
