Orbiting the Heart

↑ This is the cover for my awesome seventh edition. I really love it. Jiang Wenxi is weak and useless, a fool of a cockroach who lets everyone walk all over her without daring to fight back. After losing her job for the Nth time, she gets drunk, flies into a rage, smashes a beer bottle, and shouts at the bar owner, Letian, "Give me my job back!" Afterward, thanks to her friend Li Yan's aggressive sales pitch, she gets promoted from supermarket cashier to front-desk girl. Little does she know this is all part of a trap set by the scheming Letian, who plans to torment her. From then on, all Jiang Wenxi can do is raise her hands and whimper that she's sorry, that she shouldn't have "molested" him in public that night. After being terrified in court ten years ago, Jiang Wenxi began to split into different personalities whenever she was physically threatened. Letian discovers this by accident. The contrasting sides of Jiang Wenxi, one fragile and the other strong, deeply attract him. Just as love strikes these two people who seem to have nothing in common, a rape case from ten years ago resurfaces, sending everything back to square one. The person who terrified Jiang Wenxi ten years ago was Letian, who had been framed and imprisoned for rape. The police officer who put him away was her late uncle. Jiang Wenxi can't believe that her uncle, an elite police officer, arrested the wrong man, and resolves to reinvestigate the rape case from ten years ago. Detective Gu Tinghe risks everything for love of Jiang Wenxi. Can the knot that has been in Letian's heart for ten years finally be untied? Can the scales of love in Jiang Wenxi's heart still stay balanced? All things in the world revolve around the heart! P.S. I'm a sucker for amnesia, car accidents, orphans, and rape (why do those two characters turn into boxes?). Pfft...
