As the foremost cultivation clan in Jiangnan, how could Lan Xichen, heir to the Gusu Lan Clan, really be a naive sweetheart with no schemes or cunning?
Lan Xichen: I heard A-Yao wants the "Turbid Soul Song" from my library? If it can mess with your mind, I'll lose!
Jin Guangyao: Second Brother, there's something wrong with your Cleansing Tune.
Lan Xichen: Let me take a look for you.
Jin Guangyao: Second Brother, why does my body feel strange?
A glint flashed through Lan Xichen's eyes.
This story contains a great deal of canon divergence, including but not limited to the plot and characterization. Its aim is to give A-Yao a warm ending.
