A Barren Mountain from the Start, Everything Else Must Be Foraged

After Qin Yi quits his job, he inherits an estate from his great-aunt: a barren mountain.

The mountain has everything, except anything decent to sell or eat.

The mushrooms he picks up at random cry for help in the middle of the night.

The fish he catches in the pond grow wings and fly away.

The fruit he picks from the trees falls to the ground and turns into a wild man with an eight-pack!

Qin Chi doesn't know that the moment he entered the barren mountain, the outside world was hit by a nuclear blast and turned into a wasteland.

The livestream he starts is broadcast across the whole country, making him the world's hope.

Every time he successfully finds something, the wasteland gains another chance to survive.

The mushrooms that cry for help become nourishing soup for pregnant women.

The wild carrots dug up from the ground become snacks for children. (Kids who hate carrots are in trouble.)

The fish that flew away leave everyone lamenting the loss of fish-skin salad.

As for the man who fell from a tree, he's Qin Yi's, and he isn't sharing.

The country finally manages to contact Qin Yi.

Qin Yi: I just went into a barren mountain. How did the outside world turn into a wasteland?

The country: Just focus on developing the mountain. We've sent you an assistant. You can give him all the orders.

Qin Yi looks at the wild man with an eight-pack.

This honey trap is seriously effective!!!
