After All My Scheming to Get Her Pregnant, My Mother-in-Law Cried

Grandma Xiao has suffered enough from having too few people in the family. Her dream is to be surrounded by children and grandchildren. So as soon as the two-child policy was introduced, she launched her baby-bonus scheme: "Three hundred thousand yuan if you have a baby. Any gender is fine, and I'll help raise the kid!" Her younger daughter-in-law casually pulls out a bank card. "Six hundred thousand. Stop pressuring me. I'm too old to have a baby, and that's final." After exhausting herself trying to convince everyone to have children, Grandma Xiao catches a chill. At the hospital, she urges them to think it over: "The more children and grandchildren, the more blessings. You might not notice the difference day to day, but when something happens, you'll have no one to help!" As soon as she finishes speaking, her daughter-in-law transfers her to a VIP room. A caregiver and nutritionist look after her around the clock. The whole family can relax. When her granddaughter has a little disagreement with a classmate, Grandma Xiao can't help thinking how useful it would be if the girl had a sibling... This time, her daughter-in-law doesn't even have to say a word. Her quiet, well-mannered granddaughter kicks a punching bag to pieces. "Who needs a little brother to help?" After every attempt to persuade them to have children comes to nothing, Grandma Xiao cries. She only wants a big family with lots of children and grandchildren. How can it be so hard?! Years later, her eldest grandson's wife sidles up to her. "Give me enough money and I'll have a baby. Nothing wrong with being a proud mom!" Grandma Xiao snaps, "Get out of here! What's the point of having a baby if you don't raise them?" P.S. My friend said the gloomy old synopsis was ruining this otherwise cheerful story, so I changed it. She helped me think up the new one!
