After Becoming a Cannon Fodder, I Chose the Immortal Venerable

As someone afraid of marriage, Lin Shu decided to stay single for the rest of her life. After her parents died in a car accident, her heart as good as dead, she suddenly scored a transmigration starter pack. It even came with a silly little boy she'd picked up. But that was fine. Having a son meant someone would look after her when she was old. She'd planned to quietly farm and live a modest life. But! She suddenly discovered that she hadn't transmigrated into another world at all, but into an old-school cultivation harem novel! After enduring countless hardships, her silly son would regain his mind, turn to demonic cultivation, and advance at an astonishing pace, eventually becoming a Demon Venerable who liked to wipe out entire cities on a whim. He was the story's final villain. And her? She died early and wasn't even important enough to get a name. Lin Shu's blood surged. Saving her own life and raising her son right couldn't wait. So here's the question: as a frail, terminally ill woman who can't cultivate, how can she keep her son from becoming a great demon? Answer: Easy. Just dare to dual-cultivate with a big shot! A marriage-phobic heroine who sleeps with a man and refuses to take responsibility X a sword cultivator hero who insists the heroine take responsibility Content warning: The writing is amateurish, the prose is bad, and there's no logic. It's all for the sake of letting loose, so dear readers, don't think too hard while reading. Theme: Your fate is in your own hands
