Rong Yan grew up with her grandmother in the misty Jiangnan region. Through her grandmother's Jiangnan folk songs, she learned to believe in love, look forward to love, and search for love. This book is made up of several little stories, a collection of short stories. It isn't just about Rong Yan's own story. In the book, Rong Yan appears mostly as someone who listens to other people's stories, though one part will tell her own story as well. The main text is told from Rong Yan's perspective and recounts her interactions with the studio's customers. The fragments are told from a third-person perspective and recount the love stories of the people who visit the studio. Finally, this is important!!! The author is terrible at logic, so don't overthink the historical settings in some stories. Some plot points are completely made up.
Theme: Human joys and sorrows are never quite the same, but in this ever-changing world, "I" want to go with all of you and see what forever looks like.
