Pretending Becomes Real

After three years in the industry, minor actress Tang Ying finally landed her first leading role. She was eager to use the show to make a splash, but her male co-star got into an accident just before filming, and the role went to Yi Chi, a fresh-faced newcomer.

An ordinary meeting scene took more than a dozen takes without getting a usable one.

Tang Ying was close to tears. Hoping to get less hate when the show aired, she took the initiative to teach Yi Chi how to fall in love.

When filming wrapped, Tang Ying thought she could finally bow out and move on. She breezily said goodbye to Yi Chi, completely unaware that he had fallen for her for real.

Theme: Don't let life be filled with regrets.
