The Actor

All right, let me write a proper blurb for Spring's Floating World.

The story is set in the final years of the Republic of China. I've changed all the names because I'm afraid of getting into trouble. I want to tell a story about war. In this story, people are displaced and scattered in every direction. There are also forbidden romances that, unlike in today's open-minded times, cannot be confessed freely. They love each other, yet never say so. They understand each other, yet cannot spend their lives together. In this turbulent era, some devote themselves entirely to their country and sacrifice themselves for it, giving up the person they love. Separated by death, they can never meet again. Others continue to stir up trouble at home, scheming to seize other people's property. They, too, give up the people they love, yet stubbornly cling to worldly possessions, and end their lives in misery.

I have already thought of an ending for Spring's Floating World, featuring Ukitake, Kyoraku, Aizen, Ichimaru, and my beloved Uncle Shi. The rest I can only write little by little whenever I have some free time. Please look forward to it.
