Sweet Trap synopsis:
Xia Wei's family went bankrupt. Everyone in her circle knew and laughed at her.
One day, she met a boy she liked. He was an ordinary office worker, so Xia Wei bought him all sorts of gifts to win him over. She had no money, but secretly worked several part-time jobs.
The boy, however, sternly said he didn't want to live off a woman and refused her gifts.
Xia Wei liked him, but there was nothing she could do.
Later, her best friend got married, and Xia Wei went to the wedding. She saw that poor boy in an expensive suit, casually telling his friend, "Xia Wei? Yeah, I know her."
Xia Wei stood frozen, trembling all over.
It turned out the ordinary person she'd imagined was from a wealthy family. The frightening thing was that she hadn't realized it, and had even assumed he liked her too.
Xia Wei lowered her head and made up her mind to pretend she knew nothing about him and keep pursuing him. Her goal had changed, though: she would make Lin Yi fall in love with her, then dump him.
After that day, Lin Yi fixed his peach-blossom eyes on her and said with a chuckle, "I'll be with you. You can support me."
Xia Wei fell into a lie, a lie filled with devotion and contradiction.
She was hopelessly caught in its sweetness, unable to escape, like a fish that couldn't live without water.
She tried to get away, but Lin Yi's captivating, dangerous eyes watched her ominously. His usually smiling face was expressionless as he asked, "Where are you going?"
Only later did she learn that Lin Yi had realized she was at the wedding that day and had heard what he said.
From the very beginning, he had held the upper hand, keeping her by his side and using a false front and sweet words to make her stay willingly.
1. Later, he has to work hard to win her back.
2. No angst, a sweet romance.
This story's synopsis:
1. Xia An lost both her parents when she was young and grew up in her uncle's home, where she was spoiled rotten.
Later, she temporarily moved in with the Mu family.
When Xia An first arrived, she hated how Mu Ziyin was always telling her what to do, so she played pranks on him from time to time. Mu Ziyin would just smile faintly and not take it seriously.
They were childish pranks. He didn't want to retaliate, but he was willing to play along.
Xia An: "Here's your birthday present."
Mu Ziyin spun his pen and glanced up, saying flatly, "Keep it for yourself."
Xia An felt a little guilty and was about to take the present back.
Then she heard him say, "Leave it."
He knew it wasn't anything good, yet it was as if he'd been bewitched, wanting it all the same.
2.
Xia An lived with the Mu family for over half a year, then went abroad to study. When she returned, she noticed that Mu Ziyin still had a mole between his brows, but his personality had changed somewhat.
Mu Ziyin suddenly chuckled softly, swirling the wine in his glass. "You're still the same."
Xia An finally spoke. "What do you mean, still the same?"
Her voice came out a little hoarse.
Mu Ziyin set down his glass without a care and leaned close to Xia An, whispering in her ear, "You're still just as boring as before."
His warm breath brushed her ear as he murmured. It tingled, making her especially sensitive.
Xia An suddenly realized Mu Ziyin was nothing like he used to be.
Only later did she understand that beneath his refined appearance lay hopeless obsession and deeply buried possessiveness.
A little story about a reunion after a long separation.
