The Lucky Carp's Adorable Husband [The 1980s]

Xu Shan came from a poor family. She could outfight a shrew, play the innocent white lotus, identify medicinal herbs, and cook.

She was a woman of many talents.

But by accident, she transmigrated into the body of a doomed, delicate young woman in the 1980s.

The original owner was timid and weak, starved until she was skin and bones, and beaten to death by her vicious older sister.

The only person in the family who protected her was her little husband, who was only five years old.

Xu Shan, with all her skills, declared, "That's no problem!"

First she exposed her sister's affair, then prepared to start a medicinal herb business, and agreed with her little husband that they would go their separate ways once he grew up...

She had planned to make her own fortune through hard work.

But after they split from the family, her little husband turned out to be the luckiest man alive. From finding treasures every time he went up the mountain to winning the grand prize in a lottery, he brought her one stroke of good fortune after another, taking her from a ten-thousand-yuan household to the top of the rich list.

He even helped her find her wealthy biological father, who wanted her to inherit a fortune worth billions.

Fine, she could enjoy an easy win, too.

But when it was time for her to set sail on her own, how did she end up pregnant?

[The male lead's perspective:]

When Li Guangquan was four, his mother brought home a wife she'd picked up for him.

His wife was gentle and kind, the best woman he'd ever met.

(Xu Shan: I'm fierce and vicious! You've got it all wrong!)

He secretly vowed to treat his wife well for the rest of his life.

But after he graduated from university, his wife told him they should split up.

Terrified, he nearly went weak in the knees and swore, "Wifey, I didn't go to the graduation mixer! I didn't even get any female classmates' pager numbers! Besides, you've seen every inch of me, so you have to take responsibility!"

(Xu Shan: You were five! I saw you while I was bathing you. Don't try to con me!)
