She is Amphipades, a follower of the gods of chaos and nature, a true-word witch who has survived since the Day of Dusk, mistress of the Lampa Forest and the Distant Lake, and the greatest villain in the Kingdom of Capado. If she can't insult at least ten people every time she opens her mouth, she just doesn't feel right.
She beats up weakling gods, kicks idiot dragons, and rules the continent of Canterita.
As expected of me.jpg
One day, while idling around on what should have been a mind-numbingly boring day, the witch who had made her name across the continent let herself be tempted by money and took a temporary job working for the king.
When she arrived, she found twelve other useless witches preparing to cast a blessing spell.
Amphi: ...Why does this scene feel so familiar?
She looked down. In the cradle lay a baby who had just turned one month old, with jet-black hair, snow-white skin, and tiny lips as red as blood.
Amphi: Holy crap, why does this scene feel even more familiar now?!
Amphi: (screaming internally) A fairy-tale crossover alert!!!! (Not really)
A few years later, on another day that should have been mind-numbingly boring, the witch found a glittering golden treasure chest right outside her front door.
Amphi: What a shock! A windfall!
But when she hauled it home and opened it, a boy crawled out.
Jet-black hair, snow-white skin, and tiny lips as red as blood.
Amphi: ...They delivered the wrong package, didn't they?
