Married to the Scum Alpha's Uncle

[This is written kind of clumsily and needs a major overhaul. I'll update after I reorganize the outline. Thanks!] Su Ci is an unlucky omega. His family has fallen into ruin, yet somehow he has a marriage contract with the Gu family, one of the top families on the Imperial Star. He hasn't done anything at all, but the young alphas of the Gu family have decided he's a shameless social climber who clings to their marriage contract and won't leave them alone. They take turns messing with him, betraying him again and again... Faced with the absurd, bullying logic of this bunch of lunatics, Su Ci has no choice but to run away. But before he's been gone for even a few years, he's tracked down by an uncle from a family that has been close to the Gus for generations, a man of immense power and influence. As the heir to this generation of the Gu family, the Alpha is stern and aloof, never smiling. Determined to honor the marriage contract between their families, he says, "Pick one. Any of my nephews you like, I'll make him marry you and stay faithful to you for life." Su Ci's smile stiffens. "A-are you letting me pick a concubine?" The Gu family is large and prosperous. Gu Liheng is the youngest among his uncles, and there are seven or eight third-generation Alphas around Su Ci's age. Thinking of Gu Liheng's lunatic nephews who had toyed with him, Su Ci gets a headache. Faced with the Alpha's insistence on honoring their marriage contract, Su Ci hesitates. "...As long as I go through with this marriage, I can pick any eligible Alpha in the Gu family? Whoever I want?" "Whoever you want." Gu Liheng is adamant, as if even if Su Ci picked a nephew who was already taken, he would break them up to make Su Ci happy. He has always been old-fashioned and self-disciplined, adhering to propriety. Because of an old promise, he has made Su Ci's happiness his lifelong responsibility. Su Ci knows Gu Liheng means what he says. He also has no doubt that whichever of the Gu family's Alphas he chooses will have to marry him, unless they want to be disowned. But he doesn't want to do that. He doesn't want to be a villain who uses past favors to demand repayment and ruins someone else's relationship. Faced with Gu Liheng's unyielding determination, Su Ci takes a deep breath and, with outrageous audacity, looks up at the man nine years his senior. "...If I have to choose, then I'll choose you, Uncle." The usually expressionless man seems to freeze on the spot. But Su Ci suddenly finds this rather interesting, pressing the man who had almost taken on the role of his father. "Long time no see, Uncle~" After Su Ci gets married, those nephews who used to look down on him all go crazy, regretting their actions as they finally realize their feelings for him... But it's all too late. All they can do is call Su Ci Auntie. Theme: It's better to rely on yourself than others. You have to protect your own treasures.
