A Play Within a Play (Go Fighting!)

"Where are we going? This is our country, our home, our city." - Shen Xilin

In the 1840s, the country was no longer a country, and home was no longer home. At this final moment, when life and death hung in the balance, the six members of Extreme Challenge stepped forward to stake everything in a gamble with their lives on the line.

In this story within a story, rank and status do not matter, nor do past experiences or methods. What matters is that you and I remain in each other's hearts.

Author's note: No CP! No CP! No CP! Important things must be said three times!

This story is dedicated to my beloved six-person Extreme Challenge team, and to the pure brotherhood I love so much.

Please don't post inappropriate comments under this story. The author is a fan of the whole group.

P.S. This is my first time writing a serious period drama. Please forgive any mistakes.
