The Cat's Gratitude

Meng Jiajia finds a cat, and then the cat starts talking.

Cat: Woman, you saved my life. I can grant you three desires (crossed out: wishes).

Meng Jiajia: Can you make me win five hundred billion overnight?

Cat: …No.

Meng Jiajia: Can you give me three thousand handsome men to dote on me?

Cat: …No.

Meng Jiajia: Then what can you do?

Cat: I can eat, keep your bed warm, let you support me, and catch old…

Smack!

Meng Jiajia throws the cat out and shuts the door.

Outside the door.

The cat licks its paw. I really can catch old monsters.

A comforting fantasy, told in a series of loosely connected episodes. Just writing for fun.

Theme: Good things happen to kind people.
