[Gotham] Annabelle

Annabelle spent her whole life trying to do one thing:

Trying to become an ordinary person.

To eat her fill, take a hot bath, have a thick blanket, stop getting beaten, wear a complete, brand-new outfit, and make a true friend.

She never managed that last one.

Gordon wanted to take her away, Penguin betrayed her, Nygma used her,

Selina kept her distance.

Jerome, the one she most wanted to be friends with, died again and again,

so

Annabelle could never become a normal person.

Another Jerome fanfic. Jerome's little rascal, following the original plot, is complete.
