[Western Crossover] The Superhero Handbook

[Pre-Release: [Western Crossover] Opening a Superhero Cat Cafe]

In one world, the story everyone knew took a turn at the ending. The spaceship from Krypton didn't crash on a farm in Kansas. Instead, it landed in the castle of a certain professor.

And so everything changed.

As the child of the headmaster of Xavier's School, Clark always believed he was a mutant. Even as he gradually developed a whole range of abilities, including super hearing, super speed, flight, heat vision, and freeze breath, he still believed it.

That is, until he traveled to a parallel world at the age of ten and learned that he was actually an alien.

So, would he be flying through the sky in a skintight suit someday? Clark couldn't help but ponder the question.

※Reader's Guide※

1. The timeline is a mess. I'll pick the versions I like, and there will be plenty of personal additions. The story's own settings take precedence, so please click away if that's not to your taste.

2. The pairing is Batman [switch].

3. Slow burn, mostly everyday life.

Pre-Release: [Western Crossover] Opening a Superhero Cat Cafe

After Will Wright opened a cat cafe in Queens, all sorts of strange cats started turning up at his door.

An orange cat wearing a red-and-gold bell fights thieves in a suit of armor. A Ragdoll cat in a red cape is incredibly strong and can even fly. A black Angora cat tosses bat-shaped batarangs. Even the tiny American Shorthair can shoot spiderwebs!

Before long, Will Wright's shop was overrun by cats. Keeping all these adorable cats fed was expensive, but it was a sweet burden.

But will someone explain to him what those cats fighting villains outside are all about?!

Will Wright stared in astonishment.

The superheroes had always thought Will Wright, the cat cafe owner, was just an ordinary person. That was until one day, when villains went on a rampage and the heroes had to fight them in cat bodies. Their usually gentle shopkeeper stepped forward and gave the villains a thorough beating.

As he did, he snarled, "You think you can bully my cats?!"

Villains: Let's get this straight, who's bullying whom?! Waaaaah, we're sorry! We'll never do it again!

Superheroes: It feels like something just shattered (specifically, the image of him as a gentle man).

It's okay, they can replace it with an even thicker one.jpg

Theme: The growth of a young hero.
