The Sound of Autumn in August

This open ending makes me feel uneasy. If I don't see it, it's easy to think the worst (┯_┯)

At least August is alive with hope. Although I think pessimistically, the cannibal society will eventually eat the lonely August.

It is indeed quite open. The killer's death method is open, such as being captured by those two people and poisoned, beaten to death, or bleeding to death. . .
