Mikado Koichi planned a grand death for himself. Amid the blazing flames, he closed his eyes as he had wished
Huh? Why didn't he die? Who's talking?
Has he finally gone mad after Scotland's death?
A System devoted to defending the dignity of the Black Organization has latched onto him. Mikado Koichi doesn't think coming back to life is a good thing at all.
At first, he ignores the System's many missions to promote the Black Organization. Then he sees a black-haired man with baby-blue eyes, someone who died long ago, in a strange illusion.
"Hiro-kun...?"
In the most powerless moment of his thin, unremarkable life, he encountered a dazzling, brilliant burst of fireworks.
Time rewinds to the rainy night that man died. In reality, he sees that crystalline shade of blue once more.
Will he make it in time this time?
"Get lost, Gin. He's my prey."
"I thought the connection between us was as fragile as a spider's thread, ready to snap at any moment. Every time I saw you, I wondered if it would be the last."
"Isn't it too late to say that now, Koichi-kun?"
A few things to know before reading:
1. Mikado Koichi x Morofushi Hiromitsu, one-on-one, happy ending.
2. Saving the police academy crew! Save your own best friend! Be brave, Hiromitsu! Don't be afraid of a challenge!
3. Midorikawa Nozomu is Morofushi Hiromitsu's alias. I'm continuing my naming convention from before: Midorikawa is the voice actor's surname, and Hikari means hope, hence Midorikawa Nozomu.
4. "Baby-blue eyes" comes from the song "The Other Side of Paradise": "bye bye baby blue," meaning farewell to my beloved with baby-blue eyes.
5. Some pure, youthful romance and a Call of Cthulhu tabletop campaign.
Theme: I was born free. Nothing can hold me back.
