[Arknights] The Daily Life of a Certain Lucky EX Operator

Author's Weibo: Tongxiao Song O-NJ Note: Most of what I know about the Operators comes from their in-game profiles, and I might miss some details. I also have my own ideas for this story. If you spot anything that seems inaccurate, feel free to point it out. I'll make reasonable adjustments to fit the plot, and if something can't be changed, please consider it an original setting for this story. Thanks for your understanding. [Bows] Blurb: The ruins of Chernobog's Sector 59. The Doctor watches Redblade, sharpening his weapon, and the "corpses" strewn behind him. At last, the Doctor turns to me. Me: ??? Wait, Doctor, don't tell me you want me to... The Doctor: There's no other choice. I'm counting on you. Go! If I remember right, your Originium Arts are about dodging? Dodging? What dodging! You can't trust odds like fifty-fifty! I stare blankly at Redblade in front of me. The flames on his blade are practically licking my face. Me: "No, no, no, I really can't, Doctor! I'll die! I'm going to die!" The Doctor: "You can do it. SilverAsh will have his True Silver Slash ready any second." Redblade: "If I bring this blade down, you'll die." He swings, and I'm still standing in the same spot. He doesn't even flinch, just swings again. I'm still alive. The man with his face hidden beneath a red scarf finally looks at me differently. His murderous aura presses down on me until I can barely breathe. I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'm going to die! Redblade: "Third time's the charm. You're done for now." His third strike falls. Redblade: "???" Me: "...Is True Silver Slash ready?" SilverAsh: "Ready. Your mission is complete." Oh my god, I dodged all three times! This feeling of having the luck of the draw is like cheating. I could keep fighting for another three hundred years! Redblade, radiating murderous intent: [Stare, ] Me, instantly cowering: Huh? Did someone just say something? This is the deranged brainchild of a Doctor whose sanity was shattered by Redblade in Contingency Contract. Updates irregular, pairing undecided. Original male Operator. Enter at your own risk. OOC warning. Elementary-school-level writing warning. Theme: The story of an Operator barely scraping by to stay alive.
