You Really Left (Short Story)

I've grown used to waiting these days

While you remain unmoved

Your promises still echo in my ears

I tell myself not to cry

My world has only me left in it

And you are slowly walking away

When you left, you took nothing with you

Yet I felt so much

You've really left

And I'm beginning to feel tired too

You left me all alone

You want me to forget

But I've run out of strength

You've really left
