Xue Luoyi cries as she throws herself into her husband's arms. "What should I do if someone schemes to take my money?"

Shi Fei holds his beloved wife close. "Who would dare? Drag them out and cut them down."

Xue Luoyi glares furiously at someone. "I heard someone offered to share your bed?"

Shi Fei's throat bobs. "Who would have the nerve? Drag them out and cut them down."

Xue Luoyi: "..."

Upcoming story blurb

Rong Ge transmigrates into a book, becoming a female side character with the same name as her, a spoiled, vicious, brainless nuisance. She also ends up bound to a System, which gives her the task of changing the book's ending.

Rong Ge thinks the task is no small thing. In the original story, the villainous boss Shen Yanzhi defeats the protagonist and his whole crew. Changing the ending means she'll have to take down Shen Yanzhi, so she'd rather die.

The System kindly offers a solution: "Host, just maintain your character and survive until the ending, then assassinate the villain. That will count as completing the task."
