Don't Trust Him

This story is based on real events.

Yu Lili is a simple, kind woman who is full of romantic fantasies. Before she knows it, she becomes an "older single woman." At twenty-nine, she thinks she has finally met Mr. Right, so despite her family's objections, she resolutely marries Wu Zeren, a man who has been married twice before and has a ten-year-old daughter. She wants to "hold his hand and grow old together," but Wu Zeren turns out to be a coward with no sense of responsibility. He reveals his true nature soon after the wedding, repeatedly breaking her heart and letting her down. Sadly, her excessive compassion makes her keep yielding and compromising, sinking her deeper into despair... Impulsiveness is the devil. Wu Zeren ends up in prison for intentional assault, and Yu Lili finally faces reality. She decides to leave the scumbag and end this miserable marriage.

A word of advice to all women: Keep your eyes open and recognize scumbags. Treasure your life and stay away from them!

I also hope society, and the whole world, will take domestic violence seriously. Don't let people use marriage as a license to commit evil!
