The Pretty 1970S Educated Youth Has a Sign-In System

Ruan Tian wakes up to find herself inside a novel set in the past, as the fake heiress who was switched at birth. The biological parents of the real heiress have already discovered that Ruan Tian is not their daughter. To keep their real daughter from being sent to the countryside right after they bring her home, they've kept Ruan Tian's true identity a secret and coaxed her into going to the countryside in her place. Once she leaves, they'll switch the real heiress back into her rightful place. Her biological parents just happen to live in the village she's been sent to. Her mother is a crafty slacker, and her father, the youngest of the Ruan family, is selfish and self-serving. Her biological brothers and sisters are all ungrateful leeches. Her grandmother is sharp-tongued and favors her father, while her grandfather does whatever she says. Her three uncles and aunts each have their own issues. The whole family is a nightmare, and they're all cannon fodder in the novel... Ruan Tian: Just you wait. I'll fix your bad habits if it's the last thing I do. First, I'll get you all competing with one another. Every one of you is going to work at the factory. Back in the seventies, she'll develop new inventions, improve production processes, earn foreign currency... And do her part to build the motherland. Theme: Do your part to build the motherland.
