Unstoppable
When Song Changliu was little, he once heard someone scare their child by saying,
"If you keep crying, the Yanluo Cult will come and take you away. They love eating children, one after another, without even blinking."
So when he got home, he asked his mother if they could have deep-fried children for dinner. He got an eye-roll and a thorough beating, and from then on he detested the whole idea.
Later, when he was a bit older, he read some storybooks and realized that his family was the legendary demonic cult.
His father was the cult leader.
His mother was the demoness of the cult.
And he was the infamous son of a demon, a heartless killer scorned by the world, destined to become a demon himself and get stabbed to death by the righteous sects in no time.
Song Changliu had no interest in eating deep-fried children, so after thinking long and hard, he swore to turn over a new leaf. He decided to study hard, go to the capital for the imperial examinations, become the top candidate, and serve as an upright official who punished evil and upheld justice.
Duan Buxing is a lunatic. The entire martial world knows this, as you can tell from the fact that a man calls himself "Buxing," meaning "not up to it."
Everyone knows he has three things he won't do:
Anything against his principles.
Going without wine.
And using lightness skill.
After meeting Song Changliu, his three rules became four.
Anyone who lays a hand on Song Changliu is absolutely not allowed.
A little scene:
Duan Buxing: I hear the Yanluo Cult kills without batting an eye. Once you go in, you never come back out.
Song Changliu: ...
Duan Buxing: I hear the cult leader's son sleeps with ten men in one night, absorbing their yang to nourish his yin.
Song Changliu: ...
Duan Buxing: I hear the cult leader has eight eyes, six legs, and four arms.
Song Changliu: He has two eyes, two legs, and two arms.
Duan Buxing: How do you know?
Song Changliu: Sorry, the person you're talking about is my good-for-nothing father.
Duan Buxing: ...
A dragon's roar echoes through the halls of power, carrying lofty ambitions. With sword in hand, a hero rides out, never looking back.
A possessive, devoted puppy of a top who acts like he devours people whole, yet is pure-hearted inside, x a receiver who seems cool and aloof and loves showing off, but is actually full of schemes.
A familiar recipe, a familiar taste, and an unfamiliar martial world.
Theme: Evil is not always evil, and good is not always good.
