The Supporting Male Character's Role Never Wraps

Wu Ye was the warmhearted male supporting character in a romance novel with a female protagonist. He was born into a world-class wealthy family as the family's only son. Gentle and mild-mannered, he was deeply in love with the heroine and loyal to a fault. He was supposed to sacrifice everything for her, suffer heartbreak and physical pain, end up sick and injured, and withdraw in sorrow. That would wrap up his role, and he would never appear again. Of course, the supporting character himself had no idea he was a supporting character. He made a high-profile entrance, played around with life, and, entirely unaware of his role, stole the male lead's thunder. He turned the woman he loved into a beloved younger sister, became a CEO, married a handsome man with no money, and looked set to keep thriving.

In short, he didn't get written out according to the supporting-character script, and instead climbed all the way to the top of life.
