Next novel blurb: Be a Dog
From the year Chen Sheng became old enough to understand things, the Chen family had a servant two years older than him.
His parents always called the older boy Cheng Gou, or "Dog Cheng."
It wasn't until the Chen family went bankrupt that he learned the boy's name was Cheng Sheng.
Cheng Sheng put him through college. After he graduated,
Chen Sheng became his dog.
The wind was strong on the mountain that day, and the sun was shining.
Cheng Sheng pushed Chen Sheng off the cliff.
Long after, Chen Sheng still remembered the relief on Cheng Sheng's face.
As if he'd been locked in a dark cabinet for too long, and the door had finally opened.
