In the year 2222, the ghostly energy of a secondary plane turned against the world, and evil spirits ran rampant. To protect the majority, humanity struck a deal with them: people would be chosen as sacrifices and take part in the rituals through paranormal livestreams. The evil god Zhu Yi was awakened by a believer who sacrificed their life. His divine nature was reborn within Zhu Yi. When he woke up, he found his leg broken and himself bound hand and foot, with a female ghost hanging upside down above him, eyeing him hungrily. Underling: This newbie may be weak, but he's got a tough life. Some big shot: It took us ages to trick him into our trap. Let's get out of here while the vengeful ghost kills him. Viewers: That little streamer has it rough. He was just about to make it through a month, and his guild made him cannon fodder. Zhu Yi, already missing a huge chunk of flesh after the female ghost took a bite: Are you talking about me? Then everyone watched the female ghost explode into red fireworks. The big shot and his underling went mad and lost their minds. The strongest rookie champion became utterly infatuated with him. The viewers heard whispers that drove them into a frenzy and made them yearn to submit. To gather the power of faith, Zhu Yi swept from being a weak streamer to making the top eight, crushing everyone in his way. He won over believers along the way and made them spread his faith. Everyone was shocked: Could he be the high priest most beloved by the legendary evil god who can destroy the world?! Zhu Yi: Sorry, I'm that evil god. [Bonus Scene] Zhu Yi: "I'm tired. Hold me." The rookie champion pulled him into his arms. Zhu Yi: "It's beautiful to see a righteous god's believer fall. Do you know why I like you?" Lu Qi: "No." Zhu Yi: "Because one feeding from you gives me enough power of faith for three days." Lu Qi: "Do you know why I let you feed on me?" Lu Qi brushed the vivid red mark on the back of his neck. "Because I was the one who sealed you." Zhu Yi: "What? Who the hell are you?" An upcoming romance Infinite Flow novel: "This Newbie Is the Nightmare of 300 Million Bosses [Infinite]" #IThoughtIWasOnFloorMinusOneButIWasAlreadyInTheStratosphere# Bai Qiuye was trapped for thirteen years. Thirteen years ago, she and a group of others were pulled into an Infinite game. A bug in the System kept her from leveling up, forcing her to repeat the beginner missions over and over. After thirteen years of terrifying missions, Bai Qiuye finally escaped the instance. She discovered that time flowed differently inside the instances and only six months had passed in the outside world. The System told her that even the lowest-level players were already level 20. As for her, she had spent thirteen more years doing missions day and night than everyone else, and was still a level 1 weakling. * After the Infinite game became mandatory, countless instances appeared in cities. The monsters from the instances couldn't enter the real world. Only one instance was an exception: Codename: "Purgatory." No investigating. No approaching. No entry. Countless eerie creatures gathered just outside its entrance, turning the area into a dead city. Not even the strongest person could possibly enter and leave alive. Rumor had it that this place would become everyone's nightmare, but it might also be everyone's hope. Then one day, a tremendous boom split the sky, and the whole city began to shake. Darkness poured out and rapidly ravaged the city. Countless monsters wailed and fled on their bellies. People in the distance were bewildered and terrified. No one knew that someone had walked out of Purgatory. Bai Qiuye stared at the empty city, her level 1 icon overhead, as cautious as a little animal. "Where is everyone? Is there a big shot who can carry me?" * Later, Bai Qiuye returned to the place she'd once been. Only then did she realize that every NPC she'd encountered in her beginner instance had been a max-level boss. Every piece of junk she'd picked up had been a max-level item. And she herself had long since become a max-level big shot. [Instance 1: Play the role of a funeral services worker. Instance 2: Play the role of a horror movie actor.
