The Top-Tier Star's Pet Snake Is Me

Le Taotao is an ordinary rabbit spirit who has taken human form and works a city job. Like any overworked office drone, she has only one faith and one unreachable dream: top-tier star Sheng Xuexuan. Her ordinary life changes when she finds a little snake, and she begins what she thinks of as her "healing and saving" mission: prying open the snake's mouth to feed it dried mice, taking it for walks, and helping it cultivate. The snake goes from aloof to completely won over by her, and even watches Sheng Xuexuan's videos with her. One day, her little snake vanishes, and Le Taotao is heartbroken. Sheng Xuexuan disappears for five months. When he finally returns, he drops a bombshell during an interview: He's fallen for someone, but hasn't won them over yet. The entertainment industry explodes. Sheng Xuexuan wants to date? And there's actually someone he can't win over? Le Taotao is devastated when she hears the news, but still comments online: "I support your choice, big brother. Hope you get what you want soon." The next day, the Bureau of Youkai Management sends her a message, hiring her as a full-time employee. Her first assignment is...to be Sheng Xuexuan's assistant. Le Taotao's thought process: Oh my god, the Bureau of Youkai Management picked me to be an assistant? Are they blind? Did I just get insanely lucky? Oh my god, I'm going to be Sheng Xuexuan's assistant! I'll protect him with my life! He's not human? No wonder he's so handsome. He seems even more powerful than all those old monsters at the Bureau of Youkai Management. He seems so familiar. Could Sheng Xuexuan actually be... Damn, what have I done to him all this time?!!!
