The three years of high school are among the most precious memories of youth. The girls greatly outnumber the boys in the liberal arts class, and private disputes and friction are common. There's Li Jiaoyang, bad-tempered but kind; Liu Jinjuan, a gossipy chatterbox; Jin Yu, quiet and timid; Ji Baiwan, cheerful and sunny but a clueless guy; and class monitor Ji Shuli, who is a good person but often botches things... The students of Class Nine are full of personality. Quite a few are smart, though most don't put their intelligence to good use. But when they reach their senior year, Class Nine, once a chaotic mess that no teacher wanted to take charge of, gradually begins to change with the arrival of a new homeroom teacher.
