Kindling Desire

*Silent heiress x undercover narcotics officer - At a friend's request, Zhou Yang agreed to look after a young woman repeating her final year of high school, so he brought Miss Chu into his home. Chu Shaonan was quiet and pretty, but always wore a cold expression and had a sharp tongue. All she did was keep her head down and study, maintaining her distance from him. Zhou Yang had thought he was about to retire and enjoy a peaceful life, but then he received another mission. That day, he wore a neatly pressed white shirt, two holster straps running from his shoulders to his waist over his taut muscles, and a pistol tucked at his side. Just as he was about to leave, he saw her staring blankly at him. He knew the mission would be dangerous, and didn't want her to worry. So he patted his chest and teased her, "Does your big brother look handsome?" Chu Shaonan swallowed as she looked at the handsome man, but still stubbornly replied, "Uncle Zhou, what kind of cosplay are you doing?" Zhou Yang: "..." - The night before her college entrance exam, Zhou Yang was getting ready to leave under cover of darkness. He opened his arms, ready to give her a farewell hug, but Chu Shaonan rose onto her tiptoes and pressed a trembling kiss to his lips, catching him completely off guard. Leaning against the door, he watched her blush and stare at him, then chuckled. "Kid, after doing something like that, can you still take your exam tomorrow?" - The dead are different because they die, Lovers endure forever because they love. - 1.
