The Lu family of B City is distinguished, accomplished, and widely admired. The only exception is their young master, Lu Xiao, who spends all day goofing off with a bunch of rich young men instead of doing anything useful. He’s a real headache.

Lu Xiao: “I’m not interested in her!”

Later, Lu Xiao runs into Jiang Qin at a bar, dressed in heavy makeup and exuding a wild, carefree confidence.

He approaches her. “You sure know how to have fun, little Qin.”

Jiang Qin blinks. “Are you going to tell on me, big brother Xiao?”

Shen Xi says nothing, so they get more and more carried away, singing the praises of the mysterious woman who has won Xu Yiyang’s affection. Shen Xi has heard enough. She says slowly, “It’s the first time I’ve heard you praise me so enthusiastically. I’m touched.”

A: “Who’s praising you?”

B: “You mean you’re the one... I don’t believe it!”

Just then, Xu Yiyang calls and asks what she’s doing.

Shen Xi: “Listening to gossip about you. I heard you were cuddling up to a beautiful woman the day before yesterday, and secretly meeting another beautiful woman at a bar yesterday. I’m curious what you’ll be doing tonight.”

Xu Yiyang: “Taking my girlfriend home.”

Ten minutes later, Xu Yiyang leads Shen Xi away in full view of everyone.
