After traveling around, he returned to the Demon Slayer Corps and was accepted back by the Master and his fellow slayers, becoming the Wood Hashira once more. While out on a mission, he met the four Kamado siblings. When his offer to train Tanjiro was turned down, he took Nezuko as his disciple instead, teaching her demon arts and Wood Breathing. Two years after Kibutsuji Muzan was defeated, Miss Tamayo developed a medicine that could turn demons back into humans.
