The human world isn't inhabited by humans alone. Many beings belong to this world, yet aren't human... And beyond the human realm, there are five other realms.
Ye Junli is a great demon from one of the six realms.
After returning to the human world for the first time in over a thousand years, he discovers that it's nothing like it used to be. Everything has changed!
But that doesn't faze Ye Junli. With a little table and a fortune-teller's banner, the shameless great demon poses as a fortune-teller and tells people's fortunes, though he only reads their fates, not their futures.
Ye Junli came to experience life, but after getting caught up in one strange affair after another involving humans, ghosts, demons, and monsters, he ends up with a little ghost and a fox by his side.
When did he become a babysitter?!
And the longer Ye Junli stays in the human world and the more he encounters, the more mysteries surface, until they threaten to involve all six realms.
